Welcome to Riand'r! We are an all levels RP, based around the Medieval/Fantasy genre.
Humans and Hinari used to live peacefully side by side in Riand'r, but jealousy began to grow on the human side, a jealousy of the Hinari’s natural abilities with magic. This began to cause a rift between the two races and it was not long before an all out war had begun. Inevitably the Hinari lost the battle due to the humans discovering and exploiting their weakness over mind controlling magic. This act practically destroyed the Hinari and there were less than a thousand left after the war which the Hinari inevitably lost.
That was over one hundred years ago, the Hinari once again thrive, but now they are segregated from the humans, marked from birth with a magical symbol that identifies them as Hinari. Treated like vermin they are not allowed to venture into human lands, on penalty of imprisonment, or worse, death.
Most of the Hinari have chosen to live within the confines of Luna Forest and rarely venture out, but there are still a few, mostly the young, who have an insatiable curiosity of humans, having never seen them before, and they are leaving the forest to pursue this curiosity. Unfortunately this is happening more and more as there are no clear boundaries between human and Hinari land, and many are being imprisoned by the humans merely for the fun of it. However, it seems that times are changing, the new Emperor is said to want to sign a treaty, proclaiming peace between the two races, but there are many who oppose this act, and the emperor’s life has been threatened more than once.
Hinari are disappearing from the forest, and no-one in the tribes knows why, they simply appear to vanish, but a rumour is being spread about a dark wizard who is using mind control to take Hinari from the forest to create his own army to overthrow the Emperor. Will he be able to go through with his plans? Or will someone be able to stop him in time?

Emperor's Castle (6 sub-boards) The Emperor's castle is surrounded by a ten foot wall, and there is a gate which is guarded at all times to prevent anyone who is not on official business from entering the courtyard.

Riand'r Village (2 sub-boards) The village is just outside the castle gates, and is itself surrounded by a large wall, though the village itself is not guarded, the place makes up for busy pheasants and working soldiers.
Whiteshole Ocean The ocean here is a somewhat more green than blue, more like a tropical ocean. The sand is practically pure white, some say it is just naturally this way, othes say that it is enchanted.

Altair Mountains The mountains are baron, no plantlife grows upon them at all, the reasons for this are unknown. From the top of the mountains you can see Blueglass Valley, a view that often attracts people to this baron place.

Shadewyn Harbour Hundreds of ships sail through the harbour, dropping off supplies to the kingdom

Blueglass Valley Viewing this valley from the hills reveals why it was given its unusual name. Hundreds of blue flowers grow in this valley, and they are very rare, only in this valley have they been known to grow.

Outskirts
Ruins Ruins of a castle that was onceon the outskirts of Riand'r now it is falling apart and dangerous to enter

Coldflower Mountains So called because of the icy conditions that seem localised to these mountains. Regardless of the harsh weather flowers still manage to grow here.

Springwyne River The river is fairly large with quite a strong current, not the sort of place you want to go swimming. However, it does have an abundance of different varieties of fish.

Vallea Mines Once mined for the resources inside, now closed due to a cave in that cost the lives of many humans. There are still ways of getting into the mines, should anyone wish to.

Luna Forest (2 sub-boards) Whislt not all Hinari live in the forest, the majority do, the leader of the forest tribe is Landa Maret.
